2 local labourers die due to suffocation in Pulwama

Srinagar—Two local labourers died due to suffocation during Saturday night in South Kashmir's Pulwama district, reports said.

They said that two labourers were found dead in their rented room at Dalipora area of district Pulwama on Saturday morning.

Hospital sources confirmed that both the labourers died due to inhaling gas during the night.

They said that they had used a gas heater during the intervening night.

The deceased have been identified as Nisar Ahmad Kalas and Mohammad Ashraf Kalas both are from Draklaran, Rajpora area of the district.

Two more labourers were found unconscious in the room. The two unconscious labourers identified as Mohammad Amin and Riyaz Ahmad also from Abhama Pulwama have been hospitalized.
